Discover Montessori...
Let Your Child Discover The World

Welcome to Sunrise Montessori!  A privately-owned school, we are proud to have been a part of the Napa educational community for over 30 years.  Hand in hand with our dedicated parents, we have grown from a small preschool in 1978 to a beautiful campus with Toddler, Preschool, Kindergarten, and Elementary programs through the sixth grade.

Along with core academic classes, Sunrise offers Spanish instruction, classroom music lessons, as well as private lessons in violin and piano, art enrichment, and a physical education program.  A school psychotherapist, occupational and speech therapists, and a learning specialist complement our teaching staff.

Your FOSM Dollars at Work

The donations families make to our non-profit parent group, Friends of Sunrise, go toward many enrichment activities and classroom materials.  Here are just some of the recent ways our classrooms put your dollars to work:

  • Magical Moonshine Theater (Read the thank-you letter from the Maple Room students)
  • Art and music classes
  • Upgraded computers in the Sequoia Room
  • Gardening supplies
